ADMISSIONS

Kalinga English Medium School is a modern co-educational day-cum-boarding school founded in the year 2007. The hallmark of Kalinga English Medium School is to accept the students as they are, support them when necessary, stretch them when appropriate, and inspire them to become moral leaders. Kalinga English Medium School is dedicated in providing its students some of the happiest and most secure years of their lives, helping them grow into caring, responsible and productive adults. Admission Policy

  • Admission is open for all boys and girls, irrespective of caste, creed or social status, who are mentally and physically fit, having attained the age of 3 years.

  • Students migrating from another school must submit a Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate and Progress Report from the previous school. In case of fresh admission, a birth certificate from a local competent authority is valid.

  • Visitors are informed that smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited on the school campus.

  • For NRI students, the birth certificate must be issued by the Panchayat Secretary or any other competent authority.

  • Students having appeared in exams other than the CBSE board must get a Migration Certificate.

  • Application forms for registration/admission to all classes are available at the school office.

  • Registration does not guarantee admission.

  • The Principal reserves the right to grant or refuse admission to anyone who seeks admission to the school.

  • Every student must achieve 75% attendance, failing which the student will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

   The following documents are required at the time of admission:

 

  • School Leaving Certificate (Original)

  • Student's Aadhar card (Photocopy)

  • 6 passport-size photographs of the child

  • Medical Fitness Certificate of the child

   Note: Parents are required to bring all the above-mentioned documents during the time of admission.

    WITHDRAWAL:

  • If a child withdraws during the school session, a prior one-month notice in writing for the withdrawal must be given, failing which fee for the ongoing quarter will be charged.

  • A Transfer Certificate will only be issued and the security deposit will be released on the clearance of all pending dues. Transfer Certificate will be issued within five days and a security refund within a month of the request.

  • Parents should apply for SLC before 1st March, failing which, the tuition fee and boarding charges for that quarter or session are to be paid.
