Since 1995, Dr. Itirani Samanta has been unwavering in her pursuit of seamless learning accessibility and attainable knowledge. Her visionary mission revolves around providing every student with the foundation, capabilities, and resources necessary to achieve academic rigor, develop essential skills, and ultimately attain success.

Dr. Iti Samanta's educational journey began in the village school of Kalarabank, where she received her primary education. Subsequently, she moved to Cuttack and successfully completed the High School Certificate Examination at Khan Nagar High School. Her academic pursuits continued at Ramadevi Women's College in Bhubaneswar, where she completed her intermediate studies. Initially drawn to the field of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Dr. Iti's true passion for writing led her to alter her academic path. Following the completion of her engineering degree, she embarked on a Post Graduate Degree in Odia Literature. Driven by her insatiable thirst for knowledge, she also obtained a Master's Degree in Mass Communications and Advanced Journalism from Utkal University, Odisha. Her dedication to scholarly pursuits culminated in a PhD in literature from Visva-Bharati, Shantiniketan. Notably, Dr. Iti Samanta has been honored with both the Junior and Senior Fellowships from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

Dr. Itirani Samanta's imprint on the literary and creative landscape is profound. Born in the humble village of Kalarabank, she faced similar challenges during her childhood as her elder brother, Dr. Achyuta Samanta. A passionate reader of novels and magazines, Ms. Samanta nurtured a dream of launching a high-quality magazine in the Odia language. This dream materialized when her brother, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, established Kadambini Media Pvt. Ltd. Taking on the role of Director, Dr. Iti Samanta spearheaded the organization's mission to promote art, culture, literature, and cinema. In the year 2000, she assumed the role of Editor for the magazine, which revolutionized the Odia magazine landscape and etched its mark in history.

Dr. Itirani Samanta's endeavors extend beyond family magazines. She spearheaded the publication of ‘Kunikatha’, a monthly magazine exclusively catering to children, and actively engaged herself in various social activities. As a literary editor, she has received numerous prestigious awards, further attesting to her excellence. Venturing into the visual medium, Dr. Iti Samanta has produced national award-winning films such as ‘Kathantara’ (2005), ‘Krantidhara’ (2015), and the acclaimed short film ‘Kahani Nuhen’ (2013), which received the Best Telefilm Award. Her contributions have earned her honorary memberships in several esteemed committees. She consistently participates in seminars, discussions, TV shows, and radio talks on art, literature, women-centric issues, and current social topics.

Dr. Iti Samanta's creative pursuits include two anthologies of short stories, namely ‘Tathapi’ (2001), ‘Iti Tora Lipsa’ (2012), a short story and film script titled ‘Jhada Parara Surya O Krantidhara’ (2017), and a novel named ‘Nirab Aalapa’ (2013), all of which have garnered widespread acclaim. Additionally, ‘The Itibruti-1’ and ‘The Itibruti-2’ compile her editorials published in ‘The Kadambini’. Notably, her research-oriented interview collections featuring eminent Odia writers discussing female characters in their novels, titled ‘Kathare Kathare Upanyasare Naricharitra: Part-1’ (2011) and Part-2 (2012), as well as a collection of interviews titled ‘Kathabarta’ (2017), stand as unique contributions by Dr. Iti Samanta. She has also edited a book of critical essays titled ‘Charchare Chandrasekhar’ (2012). In the realm of culinary arts, she has compiled and edited three books on cooking, namely ‘Kadambini Aama Rosai’ Part-1 (2007), Part-2 (2012), and Part-3 (2014).
